	FERIA YUCATÁN X'MATKUIL 2002
Estado de amplia cultura y tradiciones, Yucatán se caracteriza por la calidez de su gente, su colorido, su historia (la cual se remota a los días de la cultura maya) y su grandeza plasmada por siempre en sus imponentes y misteriosas pirámides. Mérida, su capital -también llamada "la ciudad blanca"-, cuenta con grandes atrac- tivos para sus visitantes: museos, monumentos, restaurantes, centros nocturnos y diversos espectáculos que se ofrecen diariamente al público. Un evento muy importante para el estado es la Feria Yucatán X'matkuil, que este año cuenta con los principales exponentes de la industria ganadera, agropecuaria y comercial de la región. Desde 1974 esta feria se ha convertido en el evento más concurrido del año. Tanto el número de expositores como de el de visitantes ha ido incrementandose hasta resultar una feria consolidada, rentable, dinámica y diver- tida; donde se consentra la mejor oferta del mercado yucateco. La feria Yucatán se llevará a cabo del 9 al 24 de noviembre del 2002. Aquí el visi- tante puede conocer algo de lo mucho que este pueblo trabajador ofrece al mundo a trvaés de más de 550 expositores: desde pequeños agricultores y ganaderos, hasta comerciantes, industriales y recientemente maquiladores que han visto a Yu- catán como un estado productivo y trabajador. Estado de tradiciones, Yucatán ofrece al mundo una gran variedad de platillos típicos de la península; que hacen de la comida yucateca toda una experiencia gatronómica. En las diferentes secciones de la feria se han colocado diversidad de locales en los que se ofrecen artículos de gran calidad, así como las bellezas artesanales que se producen en el estado. En las confortables instalaciones del palenque se organizan peleas de gallos. Cominezan a las 21:00 hrs. y concluyen a la media noche con la participación de algún artista de gran renombre. Otro de los sitios interesantes de la feria, es el teatro del pueblo, espacio cituado en la parte central de los terrenos de la Ex- hacienda de X'matkuil, donde se rralizan espectáculos al aire libre con la actuación de grupos musicales, baladistas y cómicos. La feria Yucatán tiene siempre un sitio especial para la diversión pero sin olvidar los espacios necesarios para la ubicación de los mejores comercios. Yucatán en pleno desarrollo comercial, industrial y agropecuario, ofrece un amplio mercado potencial con múltiples posibilidades de negocio. Other interesting place to visit is the Teatro del Pueblo, located in the central park of the X'matkuil Ex-Hacienda, where you can ejoy a differents show every night.
